Don Laughlin started the Riverside Hotel/Casino by renovating an old motel back in 1966. And that was the very beginning of what is now the third largest gambling mecca in the state, and rightfully named after this gaming pioneer. Since that beginning, he has added two towers , a bowling alley. a group cinema and a large RV park. Today his hotel/casino stands as a landmark resort in Laughlin. Besides more than 1400 rooms and suites, the riverside offers many other activities.

The six theater movie complex offers first run movies daily, and a 34 lane bowling alley is also utilized daily. Laughlin's Celebrity Theater hosts top name entertainers. This hotel houses five eateries, The Sidewalk Cafe, the Buffet, The Prime Rib Room and the Gourmet Room, featuring elegant dining with a French flair.
